Dr. Dover

I've been seeing my dermatologist for over 15 years. He got me over a horrible case of acne (following two rounds of Accutane), and continued to help me with my dry, sensitive skin after that. Then, this summer, my acne came back. The horror! Dr. Dover has become something of an upscale doctor since my teenage acne days; he caters more to middle-aged women's wrinkles than teen-aged girl's pimples now. He even released a line of skin care products with CVS.

As a general dermo patient, I've seen my appointment options dwindle to one Monday morning a month, between 8:30am and noon, and I've had a hard time getting information from his practice before. So, I was a bit concerned that the acne had come back. Dr. Dover had encouraged me to call his assistant if I needed anything, though, and call her I did. Dr. Dover did not disappoint: he called me personally to set up an appointment for the next day (today). In I went, he gave me some prescriptions that will probably help and told me to call his assistant again if it doesn't clear up soon. On the way out, he explained to his helper (nurse?) that I am one of his oldest patients, though he quickly clarified that he didn't mean agewise...
